Meet Kelly White

I am an energetic, compassionate voiceover artist with experience in radio, television, and internet commercials, promotional voice overs, audio dramas, and interactive voice response (IVR). I understand the importance of producing a project that helps the customer to REFLECT on their needs and EXPRESSES how your product or service meets their needs. My Voice + Your Vision = SUCCESS!

So, a little about me – I’m originally from Charleston, SC, and I fully embrace my Southern Girl status. I currently live in the Richmond, VA area with my amazing husband and our two exceedingly amazing sons (did I mention that they’re all AMAZING??). I’m an avid Carolina Panthers fan, but I promise not to yell too loud at the games or at the screen (fingers crossed). After I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management, I began my 30+ year career in the insurance industry. I have been using my voice to explain coverages, policies, and procedures, make recommendations, and reassure clients of their confidence in their choices for years. A destined introduction to a local community activist led to an appearance on a talk radio show, which then led to my having my own show for about a year. At that point, I was officially hooked to being in front of a microphone. I decided to obtain formal training through the Premiere Complete Industry and Demo Development Program with Voice Coaches. I have also graduated from the Voice Actor Master Class taught by news anchor, talk show host, author, and screen and voice-over actress Rolonda Watts.

My voice has been described as “a mature, experienced voice with youthful range,” as well as “thoughtful, strong, determined, playful, authoritative, yet disarming and sassy and confident, but not arrogant.” If you are looking for the perfect fit for your project, I am looking forward to speaking with you and gettin’ it done!
